Amey is undertaking resurfacing works on the A96 west of Nairn from Sunday 31st August to Friday 5th September. Work will take place between the B9092 Ardersier Junction and Delnies Woods Caravan Park.
The £161,239 worth of works will improve the road surface for a smoother ride and reduce the need for ongoing maintenance, benefitting over 12,810 daily road users.
Work will take place each night under overnight convoy from 7.30pm to 6.30am.
A maximum of 4-minute delays are expected through the convoy working arrangements.
Traffic management will be removed by 6.30am on Friday 5th September.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
