The Highland Council are currently preparing the new Highland Local Development Plan (HLDP). As part of this process, we are undertaking a Call for Ideas.

Communities, residents and businesses are invited to share local planning ideas on how land and buildings within Highland could be used, improved, protected or developed. These ideas will help to inform policies, development requirements and placemaking priorities in the new HLDP.

The Call for Ideas survey is now open and will run until 18 September 2026:
