Budget Engagement for 2026–2029

The Highland Council has opened its budget engagement for 2026–2029, and they’re looking for input from everyone — residents, businesses, community groups, parents, and young people.

Your feedback will help councillors understand what matters most locally and guide the spending decisions made in March 2026.

How to get involved:

Budget Survey (individual responses): Take the survey

Online Discussion Board (share ideas): Post your ideas

Community Group Survey (for groups to complete together): Complete the group survey

Please share these links with others in the Cawdor & West Nairnshire community. If you’re involved in a local group, consider submitting a group response as well — it helps make sure our area’s voice is properly represented.

Feedback gathered now will help shape the 2026/27 budget proposal that goes to Highland Council in early March.

Deadline for responses: 5 January
